JAMMU, Mar 29: A notorious criminal was detained under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) by police here today.
Dilbagh Singh of Simbal Camp Ward Number 4, Miran Sahib, RS Pura, at present Makhanpur Gujjran, RS Pura, was a habitual criminal with 14 FIRs registered against him for commission of heinous offences like attempt to murder, stabbing, snatching etc, said a police spokesperson.
A warrant of arrest under the Public Safety Act (PSA) was issued against the criminal by District Magistrate Jammu, which got executed today with his arrest and subsequent lodging in Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal.
