JAMMU, Mar 30: The Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) is gearing up to commemorate Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Jayanti with grandeur and zeal, orchestrating a series of events at Sabha Bhawan on May 5th and 10th.
Addressing a meeting of DBPS Channi Himmat Unit activists today, President Ved Parkash Sharma outlined the forthcoming celebrations slated for May 10, 2024.
Under the stewardship of Sunil Sharma, Convener of DBPS Channi Himmat Unit, the meeting saw enthusiastic participation.
Sharma unveiled the itinerary, unveiling a medical camp on May 5th at 10 am, to be spearheaded by Dr Sushil Sharma, HoD Cardiology Super Specialty Jammu, within the Sabha premises. Registrations for the medical check-up are open at Brahman Sabha Parade Jammu.
The highlight of the festivities, a Rath Yatra and Bike, Car Rally, is scheduled for May 10th at 10:30 am, commencing from Brahman Sabha Parade Jammu and traversing through significant locales including Moti Bazar, Pacca Danga, Chowk Chabutra, among others, culminating at Chanakya Chowk Parade.
Ved Parkash Sharma emphasized the participation of various religious organizations in this symbolic rally.
Simultaneously, a religious function will transpire on May 10th at 8 am, commemorating Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti.
Furthermore, a community feast (Bhandara) is slated for 2 pm on May 10th, extending an open invitation to all communities and Biradaries to partake in the auspicious occasion and seek the blessings of Lord Parshuram.
The meeting was attended among others by Advocate P C Sharma, Subash Shastri, Soujanya Sharma, ML Padha, Shiv Ram Sharma, Barita Ram Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Raman Sharma, Rajesh Bargotra, Ritiz Khajuria, and Gopal Sharma.
