KPs decide to revive Yuvak Sabha

JAMMU, Mar 30: A meeting of the representatives of Kashmiri Pandits of all 10 districts of Kashmir Valley was held here, today under the chairmanship of M L Malla a senior community leader in which the challenges confronting the community were discussed.
During the meeting stock of the developments and furtherance of the activities of the Forum especially towards move of brining all KP organizations on one platform and put a joint strategy to major issues was discussed. The members stressed on filling up the vacuum virtually created by formation of many organizations of the KP community.
The meeting said that All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) i.e Shri Sanatan Dharam Yuvak Sabha a frontal and historical organization of the community a 90 year old organization is totally non functional now for last many years and it was stressed that the organization be made functional and revived especially in view of the problems being faced by the community which is in exile for last 35 years. The meeting said that not only the rehabilitation and return issue of the community but many other vital issues confronting it continue to be in a state of uncertainty and confusion.
During the meeting the all the 46 delegates gave valuable suggestions and it was stressed the mother organization ASKPC should take up these issues with full vigour and forcefully after its revival. It was also decided to hold similar meetings in future as follow up. The meeting among others was attended by Sharda Nandan Bhat, M K Yogi, C L Bhat, Com Mohan Lal, Avtar Krishan Koul, Subash Chatta, Sundri Lal Koul, besides members and office bearers of ADKUF. The meeting was conducted by Sundri Lal Koul.
