JAMMU, Mar 30: Former Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta today flagged off the 25th annual Charri Yatra from Mahant Lucky Baba Vaishno Mandir, Bhagwati Nagar for Sukrala Mata Mandir, in Billawar.
The Yatra is being organized by Mahant Lucky Baba every year in which thousands of devotees participate. A Langar was also arranged for devotees at Sukrala Mata shrine by Lucky Baba.
Chander Mohan Gupta expressed hope that divine blessings will strengthen the bonds of amity and bring peace and prosperity to J&K.
Hundreds of devotees accompanied the Charri from Bhagwati Nagar that left for Sukrala Mata Temple, Billawar in District Kathua.
Chander Mohan Gupta appealed to the people to use the religious events to promote peace, brotherhood and communal harmony in the society.
