JAMMU, Mar 31: Advocate Maheshwar Singh Manhas, Provincial General Secretary of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) today campaigned for party Lok Sabha candidate from Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency G M Saroori at village Barwal in Kathua district.
While addressing the gathering, he appealed the people to strengthen the hands of DPAP President Ghulam Nabi Azad by voting in favour of G M Saroori. He recollected the achievements of Ghulam Nabi Azad as Union Minister and as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
“People still remember the development works initiated by Ghulam Nabi Azad”, Advocate Manhas said and assured the gathering that DPAP will come up to the expectations of people in redressing their grievances and will always in forefront for restoration of Statehood.
Prominent among those were present on the occasion were Pawan Kumar (Raju Mahajan), founder member DPAP, Thakur Randhir Singh Jasrotia, Thakur Sukhdev Singh Jasrotia, Er Surinder Singh Bhadwal, Jagdish Raj Gupta, Thakur Kunal Singh Jasrotia, Dr Sahil Jasrotia and others.
Later, Advocate Manhas along with Er Harjeet Singh, Zonal Vice President and Pawan Kumar campaigned in Patel Nagar, Shiv Puri and Mandi Mandi Kher.
Shiv Dev Singh Andotra, Sanjeev Jamwal, Des Raj, Dhruv Singh Andotra, Varinder Sharma, Krishan Singh and Tara Chand were accompanying him.
