JAMMU, Feb 25: Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Ramesh Raina has demanded release of salary of the employees before the auspicious festival of Shivratri ‘Herath’, besides appealing the Government to declare February 28 as holiday on account of Shivratri, which is being celebrated for three days.
The Association also appealed to the Deputy Chief Minister, who is also the Minister for Education to adjust the recently promoted masters/lecturers in migrant schools in Jammu at an earliest.
Mr Raina has also appealed to the Fund Office authorities to make the GP Fund online and ease the problems of the subscribers.
