RAJOURI, Apr 2: The police seized 25 liters of illicit liquor in Dharamsal area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that a police team led by SHO Dharamsal, Inspector Vishal Kumar laid a surprise naka at Siot. During checking and frisking the police apprehended one person namely Naik Singh, son of Puran Singh, resident of Tanda, Tehsil Beri Pattan and recovered 25 ltrs of ‘Desi’ liquor, while carrying in Scooty bearing Registration No. JK11B 9234.
In this regard, an FIR No. 36/2024 U/S 48 (a) of Excise Act stands registered at P/S Dharamsal and investigation started by police.
