PDP stages walk-out of State Assembly over tension in Lolab Valley

JAMMU : Members of People’s Democratic Party today staged a walk-out of the State Assembly over tense situation in the Lolab Valley of Srinagar after the killing of seven militants by the security forces.
Shouting slogans, the PDP legislators protested in the House and disrupted proceedings.
They staged sit-in in the Well of the House alleging that the Government has imposed curfew and restrictions in Lolab Valley and people are not being allowed to move freely.
Amid shouts, PDP members created a ruckus in the House. They were demanding lifting of restrictions from the area. However, amid hullabaloo, the PDP legislators staged walk-out of the House. (AGENCIES)
