Committee framed to oversee J&K Admn’s joint initiatives with BISAG-N

JAMMU, Apr 4: Jammu and Kashmir Government today ordered constitution of a committee for monitoring the progress made under the initiatives taken by the UT administration in collaboration with BISAG-N in the identified priority areas in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per an order, the committee shall be headed by Dheeraj Gupta, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Forest, Ecology & Environment Department, with Administrative Secretaries of Agriculture Production Department, Finance Department, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Skill Development Department, Labour & Employment Department, Planning Development & Monitoring Department, Department of Public Greivances, Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-K, and any other member as may be co-opted by the Committee as members and Administrative Secretary, Information & Technology Department as the member secretary.
The committee so constituted shall monitor the progress made under initiatives taken by the UT administration in collaboration with BISAG-N in the identified priority areas viz. Panchayat profiling, integration of all online portals, public grievances, digitization of public outreach programme, familiarization of online services for common man utility, IT interventions of HADP, tracking self employment & skill development schemes and tracking credit flow.
It would also examine similar initiatives implemented in any State/UT across the country and suggest the best practices, if any, for adoption in J&K.
The committee shall submit a monthly progress report to the office of Chief Secretary, J&K, ordered the Government.
