RAMBAN, Apr 4: Police here today under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar foiled bovine smuggling attempts and seized 11 vehicles, arrested 11 bovine smugglers and rescued 45 bovines.
A Police team from Police Station Chanderkote headed by SHO Chanderkote and Police team from Police Station Ramban headed by SHO Ramban intercepted 11 vehicles and during the checking of these 45 bovines were found laden inside in a cruel manner and these were being transported illegally.
Cops rescued all the 45 bovines and registered FIRs at Police Stations Chanderkote and Ramban in this regard and started investigations.
