JAMMU, Feb 26: Minister of State for Home, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today informed the Legislative Assembly that Government has got vacated 1468 establishments including Government and private buildings from the occupation of security and para military forces.
Replying to a Calling Attention Notice of PDP MLA, Rafiq Hussain Khan, Mr Kichloo said that 1468 establishments, which include schools, hospitals, hotels, private buildings, industrial units and cinemas have been vacated by the security forces while as 1856 establishments are still under the occupation of security forces.
“District administration Poonch is already seized of the matter and they have taken up the issue of vacation of these premises with the concerned Army authorities”, the Minister said, adding “the matter will be taken up at the highest level with the Army authorities to ensure early vacation of these premises and their restoration for original purpose/use”.
