HPS excels in symposium

JAMMU, Feb 26: The students of Humanity Public School, (HPS), Bassi Kalan (Bari Brahmana) excelled in the symposium, organized by the District Police Samba, under Civic Action Programme at Bari Brahmana.
The topics of the symposium were Child Labour; National Integration and Population Control. DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Shakeel Ahmed Beig was the chief guest on the occasion, while district SP Samba, Anil Mangotra was the guest of honour and SDPO Bari Brahmana was presiding officer on the occasion.
Around 45 students of various institutions participated in the event, wherein Anuradha of 9th Class and Itika Atri of 7th Class secured Second positions on the topics National Integration and Population respectively. Both were awarded a cash prize of Rs 300 each. Shweta Kumari of 9th class and Shewani Manhas of 7th class received cash prize of Rs 100 each for participation.
Gaurav Charak, Principal of the school along with Anku Charak (Vice Principal) felicitated the meritorious students on the occasion. He lauded the efforts of Sandeep Zutshi, Rajni Sharma and Amita Chowdhary for guiding the students.
