Yogi for permanent representation of Kashmiri Pandits in SASB

JAMMU, Apr 6: Senior KP leader and former president of holy Martand Tirath, Improvement Charitable Trust Mattan, M.K.Yogi has appealed the Lt. Governor J&K who is also Chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) to nominate permanent members from Kashmiri Pandit community in the Amarnath Shrine Board and also ensure their active participation during coming holy Amarnath Ji yatra.
Yogi has also appealed for participation of Kashmiri Pandits in the Pooja Archana during the Amarnath Yatra and has also added that permanent participation of young volunteers from this community be also considered for smooth conduct of holy Amarnath Yatra as well employment avenues be worked out for educated unemployed youth of the community in the Amarnath Shrine Board.
He said holy Amarnath Shrine is the pious Hindu pilgrimage place where every year lacks of Hindu devotees from different parts of India and abroad visit to perform religious rituals and have the glimpses of Lord Shiva in form of ice Shiv Lingam. Kashmiri Pandits are also the devotees and followers of Lord Shiva and the holy cave of Amarnath Ji. The role of Kashmir Pandits in Amarnath Yatra has remained quite active for centuries together and have played a key role in Pooja Archana at the holy shrine during the yatra period with their active participation and were part and parcel of this holy pilgrimage.
