Ranbir School Alumni Association elects office bearers

JAMMU, Apr 7: Ophthalmologist Dr Madan Gupta and Retired senior banker Anil Deep Mehta were re-elected as President and Secretary, respectively of the Ranbir School Alumni Association (RSAA) at its 2nd AGM-cum-Alumni Meet, held today at Press Club Jammu.
Others who were elected to the Management Committee, in the election agenda conducted by RSAA Patron and retired banker-cultural activist-writer Naresh Gulati, included Shamsher Singh as Vice-President, Pankaj Pradhan as Joint Secretary and Vinay Saraf as Treasurer. Swadesh Bhakhari, Ravinder Rekhi, Adeep Mehta and Anil Verma were elected as Managing Committee Members.
Earlier the meeting proceedings were conducted by Secretary Anil Deep Mehta under the chairmanship of Dr Gupta. The proceedings included presentation of report of activities and accounts for the last year plus period.
This was preceded by introduction and reminiscences of the school days by all the Ranbirians gathered for this second Alumni meet.
The gathering of Ranbirians included prominent professionals, bankers, professors, scientists, engineers and others turned writers and prominent citizen-intellectuals namely Ravinder Handa, Dr Lalit Magotra, Prof Sudarshan Kumar, Prabhu Dayal Gupta, Varinder Sharma, Rakesh Mehta, Shyam Sundar Dhani, Col Ved Prakash Sharma, M M Bakshi, Manvir Singh, Indu Bhushan Bali and many others besides the committee members.
