JAMMU, Apr 7: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district president Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan held a special interaction with local public in Ward No 47 and its adjoining areas of Bahu Fort in Trikuta Nagar Mandal.
In this Nukkad Sabha, Rekha Mahajan urged the audience to vote for BJP in order to make India a developed country and the third-largest economy in the world. While addressing the audience Rekha Mahajan said, under the leadership of PM Modi, BJP led Government has just shown a trailer of development and would ensure there is a quantum leap to the country’s economy in future. She asserted that Narendra Modi would remain Prime Minister for the next decade and that the Central Government is working on ushering in next-generation technologies in connectivity, communication, and production along with encouraging entrepreneurship under startup initiatives, developing international relations and positioning India as a global power.
Rekha Mahajan recounted that nearly 40 Centrally Sponsored Schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Jan Dhan account, UjjwalaYojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), PM Gati Shakti etc, road, railway, and air connectivity, high-speed internet and digitisation of services, pro-people policies, focus on setting up IITs, AIIMS, and other elite institutions etc have brought India a long way since the BJP-led NDA Government came to power at the Centre in 2014. Rekha said the Central Government has plans for a “quantum leap” in terms of development in the next five years, along with making India a six trillion dollar economy and that its current goal of achieving a five trillion dollar economy would be fulfilled within 2027. “The share market jumped after Ram Mandir conservation showed India could rise to become the world’s third largest economy before 2027,” she added.
Rekha Mahajan elaborated that J&K got freedom from the clutches of Article 370 and 35 A due to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in 2019, who fulfilled the dream of Jan Sangh leader Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
