SRINAGAR, Apr 7: Ali Mohammad Parra, the uncle of prominent People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Waheed Parra, along with several political activists, joined the Apni Party here today.
In a statement issued by Apni party, Ali Mohammad Parra, along with his associates including Ghulam Nabi, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Qadir Rather, and Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, all from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, joined Apni Party in the presence of its President, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.
Giving a warm welcome to Parra and his associates, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari assured them that the Apni Party would provide them ample opportunities to serve for the well-being of people in their respective areas.
He said, “I wholeheartedly welcome you into the Apni Party, and I am sure that your joining will strengthen the Apni Party further in your areas. I assure you that the Apni Party will provide you ample opportunities to work and serve for the well-being of people in your respective areas as the Apni Party’s primary agenda is to ensure peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir, and the well-being and prosperity of its people.”
