RAMBAN, Apr 7: Police here arrested a narco-smuggler with 15 gm heroin.
As per sources, Police during investigation of a narcotic smuggling case developed leads after which the cops arrested one Helmant Kumar, son of Yog Raj, resident of Punjab with an address at Kunjwani, Jammu. Kumar was found in possession of 15 gm heroin.
As per the case, under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar, cops on March 28, 2024 had planned an operation in Gool area and had arrested a narcotic smuggler with 16 gm heroin during a patrolling when cops questioned one Asif Iqbal, son of Mohd Rafiq Najar, of Saurkundi Dalwah Tehsil Gool in Ramban and recovered 16 gm heroin-like substance from him. Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
