JAMMU, Apr 11: Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Gokulpur (Domana) celebrated 647th Prakash Utsav of Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj in the premises of Gurudwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj, Gokulpur under the presidentship of Mela Ram. Garu Ram (secretary) presided over the function.
While speaking on the occasion, the speakers light on the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass who fought for the equal rights of humans. The Amritvani of Shri Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj touches every aspect of life. Guru Ravi Dass ji fought for the eradication of social evils.
The birthday of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule was also celebrated on the occasion. The speakers also threw light on the life and mission of Bharat Rattan Baba Saheb Dr B R Ambedkar as birthday of Baba Saheb will be celebrated on 14th April.
Pathi Bua Ditta delivered spiritual sermons on the occasion and told the sangat to follow the path shown by Shri Guru Ravi Dass. The students delivered lectures on the life and mission of Guru Ravi Dass, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Bharat Ratan Baba Sahib Dr B R Ambedkar.
Those who spoke on the occasion and were honoured by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Gokulpur included Sham Lal Basson, Advocate Rajat, Mohan Lal Basson, Gourav Ravidasia, Bharat Bhushan, Bodh Raj, Ganesh Kumar Bangotra, Roshani and Ajay Thapa.
The Sabha members also served Langer to all devotees.
