KISHTWAR, Apr 11: One person was killed and the another was critically injured after the van they were on board rolled down in Kushal area here today.
Police sources informed that the ill fated van of EECO make bearing registration number JK17-3372 rolled down in Kushal area of Mugal Maidan late in the evening leaving two persons on board injured.
Both the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and later on to District Hospital Kishtwar where the doctors declared one among them as dead on arrival.
The deceased was identified as Ab Rashid, 27, son of Mohd Yaqoob, resident of Thal, Rahalthal.
The injured was Bilal Ahmed, son of Mohd Ismail, resident of Thal, Rahalthal and he was undergoing medical treatment at DH Kishtwar.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
