DODA/ UDHAMPUR, Apr 14: Former MP and Congress candidate from Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency, Ch Lal Singh today said that locals will always be his priority if he is voted to power after ensuing Parliamentary elections.
He was addressing series of elections rallies in hilly and remote areas of Doda and Udhampur districts today. In his blistering attack on local BJP leadership, Ch lal Singh said that they never uttered a word in favour of the general public who suffered during the last one decade. They have created public grievances cell but not even single grievance of the public was ever resolved or addressed. They just befooled the general public by setting up such a cell. These leaders misused the public mandate for personal growth and own establishments. The BJP leaders behaved arrogantly and often maintained at distance from the people of their respective constituencies.
While referring to the issues of the local employees, Ex-MP said, ” I understand the agony and the pain which my local employees have been going through all these years. The employees have not suffered only in terms of their respect and dignity but have been put to a lot of financial loss due to unpopular tax slabs on their salaries. Once voted to power, will fight all these issues in the Parliament,” assured Ch Lal Singh.
Ch Lal Singh in his fervent appeal to the general public said, ” I can never forget in my life time the support and the love which the people of Jammu showered upon me during my tough time and this is the result of the blessings of the poor, laborers, downtrodden people that the Government despite of putting me in the jail, failing badly to gag my voice. No power on earth can gag my voice to speak for my people and their grievances,” Lal Singh expressed.
“You are supporting me in this hour of fear and threats from the different agencies of the rivals but I assure you that this all fear will vanish once for all and I assure one and all that once voted to power, all your grievances and threats shall be dealt with full might and your trust will be my priority and I will stand like rock for your protection,” Ch Lal Singh added.
