JAMMU, Apr 15: The GOC-in-C, Northern Command, has rewarded a Jammu and Kashmir Police Head Constable for his exceptional valour.
A statement said that the Head Constable Agya Singh of Jammu and Kashmir Police posted at Chassana Police Station was rewarded in recognition of his exceptional valour and dedication displayed during a joint anti-terror operation of the Army and Police.
“Despite sustaining an injury, Head Constable Agya Singh displayed exceptional courage to assist the Indian Army to eliminate a hardcore foreign terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba on September 4, 2023,” it said.
