Painting Exhibition inaugurated at Kala Kendra

JAMMU, Apr 15: Principal Secretary, Department of Culture and Tribal Affairs, Suresh Kumar Gupta here today inaugurated a three-day painting exhibition by Pallavi Sambhyal organized by Kala Kendra Society, at GR Santosh Gallery.
The inaugural event witnessed the presence of a number of dignitaries including Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Sanjeev Rana; Secretary of Kala Kendra Society, Dr. Javaid Rahi; Regional Director of IGNCA, Shruti Awasthi; Convener of INTECH, S.M Sahni, Ravinder Kaul, noted Art Critic and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Former Additional Secretary Academy and others.
Visitors from various walks of life graced the occasion with their presence and participation.
Dr. Javaid Rahi delivered the welcome address.
Suresh Kumar Gupta commended the artwork of Pallavi Sambhyal, noting its reflection of the diverse landscapes of J&K.
Sanjeev Rana also spoke on the occasion.
Pallavi Sambhyal was born and brought up in Samba District of Jammu region.
She shared her journey as an artist, expressing her passion for portraying the beauty of J&K through her landscape paintings.
