Ramban Admin holds mega SVEEP event at Sanasar Tulip Garden

Ramban, Apr 15: A Mega SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) event was organized by the District Administration, Ramban at the beautiful, picturesque and scenic Sanasar meadow, adjoining the blooming Tulip Garden.
A colourful and mesmerizing programme was orchestrated by District Election Officer, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, Chaired by ADDC Ramban Roshan Lal, attended by CEO PDA Devinder Singh Bahu, ACD Ramban Srinath Suman, ACP (District Nodal Officer SVEEP) Mohammad Ashfaq Khanji, DIO DIPR Ramban Mohammad Ashraf Wani, DSWO Rahul Gupta, other District and Sectoral officers besides mammoth gathering of enthusiastic locals, especially youth, women, PwDs, children, and tourists.
The event aimed to raise awareness about electoral participation and educate voters. The event being held in such picturesque locations to engage the community in the electoral process was thoroughly appreciated by the participants and tourists as well.
The ADDC interacted with the tourists and participants encouraging them to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 without fear or favour in an impartial manner to contribute their part in shaping the future development of our nation.
At beautiful meadow of Sanasar surrounding with forest besides beautiful lake, hundreds of tourists and locals captured memorable moments and relished the cultural, informative, and educative programme focusing on SVEEP and voters motivation to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, scheduled to be held on April 19, 2024 in the district Ramban as a part of 04-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency.
As part of the event Sangam Theatrical group from Reasi performed amid meadow, keeping the audience spellbound. Students of Government Degree College, Batote and other adjoining Schools presented patriotic songs, cultural items, speeches, and skits on the theme. Additionally, sports activities, Zipline, Zorbing, Shikara ride, Trampoline, Horse riding, Painting, Mehndi, Tug of War, Kabaddi competitions and other activities made the day of the students and tourists during the event.
