UDHAMPUR, Apr 15: In a tragic accident because of rash driving, a youth was crushed to death after he fell from a moving minibus and came under the rear side tyre near Barmeen, here today.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Singh (23), son of Uttam Singh, resident of Malal Satyalta, Tehsil Ramnagar, who was travelling along with his brother Sunil Singh from Ghordi towards Barmeen in the minibus bearing registration number JK14C-8666.
As minibus was being driven rashly, Ajay Singh suddenly got pushed out of the vehicle from entrance and came under the rear side tyre which crossed over his stomach resulting into his on the spot death.
Driver of the minibus fled from the spot after the accident. On getting information, Ghordi Police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur while a case has been registered in this connection.
