RAMBAN, Apr 16: Police here today under the directions of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar arrested a bootlegger and recovered 37 bottles of illicit liquor of 250 ml each from his possession.
The bootlegger has been identified as Rishpal Singh, son of Prem Singh, resident of Aadhwa, Tehsil and District, Ramban.
Cops from Police Station Ramban while patrolling near the market in Ramban arrested the bootlegger while he was illegally selling liquor.
An FIR with number 82/2024 was registered in this regard under Section 48(a) of Excise Act at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
