JAMMU, Apr 18: Renowned Pahari Singer Tariq Pardesi (from Kernah) along with supporters, joined BJP, in the presence of Ravinder Raina, President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Former MP Talib Hussain and senior leader Mohd Iqbal Malik were also present on the occasion.
While welcoming Tariq Pardesi into the party fold, Ravinder Raina said that the new entrant belongs to the remote border area, who has served the society with the magic of fine arts.
He said that the people from these areas have remained nationalist in all circumstances and have served the society and the nation. He said that these people have strengthened the BJP in the area by joining the party.
Raina said that the whole world is today recognizing the strength of India and ready to assign us the role of world leader. He said that the youth is also readily accepting the role and making their mark as ‘unicorns’ with successful start-ups in different fields.
“This surge in the confidence in collaboration with development and socio-economic upliftment of neglected social classes represents the strong resolve of the Modi Government to serve the nation and its people”, said Ravinder Raina.
While he showered heaps of praises on the prominent personality and all accomplices for achievements in social life, he stressed that now their forces will further strengthen the party in society.
Talib Hussain praised the Tariq Pardesi for the societal services and spoke of their prominent role in the society in the whole belt. He said that the new entrant will act as an important asset for the party.
Tariq Pardesi praised the BJP leadership for fulfilling all the pending demands of Pahari people and said that all the Pahari people are indebted to BJP and will support the party with full might.
