Srinagar, Mar 2: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed the Government’s positive approach to extend the deadline for the functioning of hotels and other business houses in Srinagar, Jammu & Katra cities for one more year.
“Such a positive approach is aimed at giving a chance to the businessmen concerned to rectify the wrong and save large number of people who have been earning their livelihood through the identified shopping complexes and hotels,” President KCCI Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad said in a statement.
Ahmad said KCCI hoped that the issue will be resolved in due course in a manner that both the environment of the State and the livelihood of the people involved in the business is protected.
