JAMMU, Apr 20: In order to felicitate, new Chairman of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT), Arshad Ali Choudhary, a function organised by Brig. K.B. Public School (BKBPS) was held here today.
The function was organised in the presence of Patron-in-Chief Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary.
The principal of school, Radhu Gupta congratulated the new members of the trust.
Speaking on the occasion, the Patron in Chief recalled the contributions of the founder of the school Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary whose vision and mission in reforming the Tribal Communities and other backward classes is always a guiding force behind the development and upliftment of the school and called for starting degree level courses in the same campus by upgrading it to college level.
He also gave valuable suggestions and ideas to improve the functioning of BKBPS and its allied functionaries.
The new Chairman, GDCT, Arshad Ali Choudhary also spoke on the occasion and lauded the role of Founder Trustees for their services for the upliftment of the Community, particularly in the field of education.
Choudhary said that Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary will be remembered by the generations to come for his contributions & assured all the participants that the new team of the school will leave no stone unturned to fulfil the dreams of Baba-e-Qoum.
He also presented an insight of future programmes for the development of the school and emphasized the students to work hard and succeed in the field of Education, Sports, Art & Culture as well.
The Vice principal of the School, Monica Sharma presented the vote of thanks.
The event was attended by Master Hasham Ali Patron, Nighat Sultana, Director BKBPS, Mohammad Sadiq Azad General Secretary, Bashir Ahmed Noon Financial Advisor / Treasurer, Shoukat Javed and Mohammad Rafiq Kohli.
