He said the ongoing Parliamentary elections is a fight between those parties which are trying to restore Article 370 and those who annulled it and ended the 70 years long Constitutional anomaly and injustice to which people of erstwhile J&K State were subjected.
Chugh said it is a fight between those parties who want to bring back dark period of Kashmir and those who brought J&K out of that period. “So people have to decide whether they want to go with them who are conspiring to push them in that dark period or with those who want to strengthen peace in the UT and bring further prosperity to the people. “The people of J&K have to decide whether they will go with those who made the erstwhile State a terrorism capital or with those who put the UT on the path of development and progress by giving computers to the youth who earlier were forced to become stone pelters,” he added.
Chugh promised that in coming five years the BJP Government will take the J&K ahead in all spheres of life.
Asking people not to bank upon dynastic parties, he said it was the then coalition Government of National Conference (NC) and Congress headed by Dr Farooq Abdullah when Kashmiri Pandits were hounded out from Valley after hundreds of their community members were gunned down by terrorists and posters were pasted on walls asking the minority Hindus to leave Valley or face death.
Chugh said it was incapability and inefficiency of these parties that Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave Valley. One of the leaders of these dynastic parties Mufti Mohammed Syed was Home Minister of India at that time, he added.

He added that during the meeting of eight Assembly segments which he conducted today he was satisfied to see that party workers have dedicated themselves to make Modi mission a success.
