JAMMU, Mar 3: To examine and clear the proposals of different departments for creation of posts as well as infrastructure required for the establishment of new Administrative Units, the State Government has constituted a high powered committee.
Headed by Chief Secretary of J&K, the committee will comprise Administrative Secretaries of Planning and Development Department, Finance Department, Revenue Department, GAD and Administrative Secretary of concerned department.
The Government has also ordered that the Revenue Department shall work out the jurisdictions of new Administrative Units in a time bound manner, requirement of staff and infrastructure for their operationalizing, financial implications of the same and availability of land etc for construction of buildings and other requirements thereof.
