JAMMU, Apr 22: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta expressed confidence in a record-breaking victory for the BJP in the Jammu-Reasi constituency, attributing the anticipated success to the robust public endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and policies.
Gupta spoke during a vibrant road show organized in support of the incumbent MP and Lok Sabha candidate, Jugal Kishore, from Jammu-Reasi.
The event, held in the Bahu Assembly Constituency, showcased a significant show of force with an impressive turnout. MP Gulam Ali Khatana and several top-tier BJP leaders joined Gupta, contributing to a notable cavalcade that navigated through key areas to canvas support for Jugal Kishore Sharma.
Starting from Bawe Wali Mata Temple, the road show traversed through several localities including Gorkha Nagar, Raja Mandlik Chowk, Bathindi, and Malik Market, eventually culminating at Digiana.
The rally drew participants from diverse communities, notably receiving considerable support from Muslim residents in areas like Bathindi and Sunjwan.
Gupta stated that supporting PM Modi translates to a stronger India, capable of joining the ranks of global superpowers.
He highlighted the advancements under Modi’s decade-long administration as evidence of unprecedented national progress unmatched by previous Governments.
He also commented on the internal discord plaguing the opposition, suggesting that the visible in-fighting among alliance partners has turned them into a spectacle of ridicule among voters, further solidifying BJP’s advantageous position in the upcoming elections.
The road show was also a stage for other prominent BJP figures, including Aseem Gupta, Rajeev Charak, and Vinay Gupta, who along with other party stalwarts, reinforced the message of unity and strength under the BJP’s banner.
