JAMMU, Apr 22: Police in Jammu City area claimed today they have arrested an individual who was evading his arrest for the past 12 years.
A police spokesperson said that one Pawan Kumar of Narina, Akhnoor at present Mast Garh Jammu was wanted in case FIR number 56/2012 under sections 8/20/21 of the NDPS Act and 4/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station City.
On getting information about the absconder, he said, a team of Police Station City led by SHO Brahmdev Singh under the supervision of DySP Devinder Singh Bandral, SDPO City Jammu and guidance of SP North Shivam Siddharth arrested the absconder and produced him before the court of Ist Additional Session Judge Jammu for further proceedings.
