UDHAMPUR, Apr 22: An elderly woman died while her son and daughter-in-law among four persons were injured when a load carrier, they were travelling in, rolled down into a deep gorge at village Gundiah in Ramnagar.
According to the reports, the Auto load carrier, bearing registration number JK02CG-1962, was on its way from Jandror to Ramanagar when it met with the accident this morning around 11:30 am.
Locals and SHO Ramnagar S D Singh rushed to the spot with a police team and took the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors declared one woman dead.
The deceased was identified as Chancla Devi, wife of Prem Nath of Jandreri, Tehsil Ramnagar.
The injured were identified as Auto driver Satveer Sharma, son of Hans Raj of Jandrari, Sanjay Sharma, son of Prem Nath and his wife Suman Devi, Yog Raj, son of Rattan Chand, all residents of Jandreri.
