JAMMU, Apr 23: Ekam Sanatan Party’s National President and MP candidate for Jammu Lok Sabha, Advocate Ankur Sharma along with his team members, today addressed back to back public gatherings at Nagrota, Kahpota (Jindrah), Shalamar Park Katra and Katra Main Town.
Sharma led a frontal attack on selective state control of Hindu temples and shrines and demanded that all such institutions under state control should be handed back to the Hindus. He specifically talked about the state control of Mata Vaishno Devi and demanded that Hindu community including Sadhus and Sants should manage and administer the holy shrine.
He further stressed that Baridars should be given exclusive rights of worship in the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine and their long pending demands of resettlement and rehabilitation including their active participation in managing and administering of the shrine should be immediately addressed.
“Hindu control of Hindu temples is critical for empowerment of Sanatan because the revenue generated from Hindu shrines can be directly spent for cow protection, building Sanskrit Vidyalayas, giving a special financial cover to poor Hindus including free health facilities in Hindu shrine owned hospitals,” he said.
Ankur Sharma also talked about political empowerment of Jammu Province, legislation of a law for holy cow’s protection, regularisation of Daily Wagers, etc.
Ankur Sharma appealed to vote for change, for effecting a generational change in leadership and requested everyone to vote in his favour from Jammu Lok Sabha by pressing the “Bansuri” button on EVM.
