Retirees Police League District Jammu holds monthly meet

JAMMU, Apr 24: The monthly meeting of the Retirees Police League District Jammu was held here today under the chairmanship of S Karanjit Singh, President of the League.
During the meeting, several important issues, including discrepancies in pay pension of the police personnel of same ranks, provision of free medicines to the retirees in all hospitals especially police hospitals, deductions of commuted money from the accounts of the pensioners, holding meetings with the retirees by PHQ among other issues were discussed by the retirees.
The meeting was attended among other retired police officers by Ranjit Singh, Choudhary Chirag Din, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, Savita Parihar, Tabasm Parveen, Makhan Lal Sharma, Prabhdyal Sharma, Ashok Bhagat, Sardar Khan, Mohinder Singh, Daljit Singh, Kuldip Khajuria, Joginder Singh Chib, Ajay Punjabi, Rakesh Gupta, Yoginder Singh, Kuldip Raj, Inspector Taj Mohammad, Vedraj Bali, Satpal Singh, Ramesh Chander, Ashok Kumar, Mohinder Kumar, Satpal, and Prakash Chand Dogra.
The participants who attended the meeting requested the DGP RR Swain to look into the issues of the retired police personnel and take up the matter with concerned authorities at the earliest.
They also extended gratitude to the District Police administration for logistical support provided to the retired police personnel time and again.
