JAMMU, Apr 24: A 36-year-old man allegedly died of alcohol poisoning here, police said today.
They said Sumer Singh son of Shaitan Singh of Ajmer, Rajasthan, was admitted to Kot Bhalwal Hospital on April 23 due to some complications from where he was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu the same day.
He died around 8 am at the hospital today, police said.
Police have shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting a post-mortem and started further investigation into the matter.
