95.91 pc students declared qualified in class 8th exam

JAMMU, Apr 25: As all the 20 District Institutes of Educational Training (DIETs) of J&K Union Territory have declared the result of Middle Standard Examination, Session 2023-24, an overall pass percentage of 95.91 has been registered.
While pass percentage of Government school students is 94.23, the private school pass percentage is 98.66.
Total 169351 students appeared in the exams and 162440 of them were declared qualified.
Middle Standard Examination (MSE) Session 2023-24 had concluded on 16th March, 2024 for both hard and soft zone areas of J&K Union Territory. In total 2471 examination centres (903 Kashmir Division and 1568 Jammu Division) were constituted at Cluster/Complex level for smooth conduct of the Middle Standard Examination across the UT. Immediately after the culmination of examination, evaluation was done at Complex level under the supervision of Complex Heads and respective Principal DIET of the concerned District.
The whole evaluation process was completed within four days after the culmination of the examination.
