KISHTWAR, Apr 25: Shown grave concern over the piling up of problems of labour class working in Rattle Power Project, Shiv Sena (Shinde) Zonal president erstwhile Doda district, Tilak Shan has urged the Project authorities to settle their problems without any difficulty.
In an appeal to Labour Department he sought immediate intervention in the matter of 36 workers disengaged by the project authorities instead of regularising their services.
Shan said that these workers have been affected with the construction of the project as their land has come under the project and after serving for several years they have been disengaged putting their future in jeopardy. He opposed reengaging them through outsource agencies when they were the project employees and served for many years in the Project.
Shan urged the Labour Department to settle their issue. He also appealed Union Government to deploy an Assistant Commissioner of Central Labour Department permanently at Rattle Power Project as the Project is under the direct control of Union Government.
