JAMMU, Mar 4: In demolition operation headed by Sushma Chauhan, Vice Chairperson, JDA got retrieved more than of 5 kanals of area and sealed 6 structures at Village Majeen/Sidhra behind IMPA Building here today.
The operation was carried out by Enforcement Wing of JDA comprising of Director Land management, JDA Jatinder Singh, Incharge Superintending Engineer. JDA, Roop Lal Angurana, Balbir Singh, Executive Engineer, JDA Division No.I, Narinder Singh, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer, Muzaffar Malik, Tehsildar, JDA Zone-B and field staff.
The proposed land is part of the Satellite Township, Sidhra which is being sold by the land mafia to outsiders by fake revenue document. JDA signboards have also been installed on the land.
The operation was executed with the co-operation of SDPO, Nagrota, Incharge Police Choki, Sidhra and overall supervision of Sr. Superintendent of Police.
The Vice Chairperson, Sushma Chauhan, has warned the land mafia/ encroachers to desist from disposing of the JDA land to innocent people otherwise strict action will also be taken against them. Further, in the instant case, Vice Chairperson, JDA has directed the Chief Khilafarzi Officer, to lodge FIR against concerned Gangman.
