NITTTR conducts environmental engineering workshop at YCET

JAMMU, Mar 4: National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh is in the process of offering an online (Video Conferencing) Faculty Development programme to the faculty of technical institutions in Northern Region.
The Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) feels it an honour to be the part of such privilege programme through Integration Communication Technology  (ICT) on environmental engineering and management scheduled during March 3 to 7,  being organized by NITTTR, Chandigarh.
As per a release, issued by YCET, the prime objective of this workshop is to impart to the participating teachers of different institutions of technical education to understand the environmental issues and management of such issues.
Prof B L Sharma, Director YCET welcomed the participating faculty members of various institutions of technical education in Jammu region and laid emphasis on physical understanding of besiding the environmental issues. He urged the faculty members to manage such issues while undertaking all kinds of engineering activities in the service of mankind.
Prof J R Dhelra, Director ISM stressed on the last changing environmental issues  and suggested to use scientific resources to counter the threat of increasing global warming, pollution etc.
Prominent among others present in the workshop were Ajay Jamwal, Dean Administration ICES, Prof K R Sharma, Principal North Polytechnic, Prof K G Gupta, Principal IECS, Er B R Verma, Dean Academics, YCET and I S Ahluwalia, Training and Placement Officer, YCET along with other faculty members of Jamwal Group of Institutions Jammu. Er Ranish Mangotra coordinated the faculty development programme.
