JAMMU, Apr 29: The founder Principal of Doon International School Jammu, Dr Vikesh Kaur emerged victorious and has been elected as the President of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex (JSSC), an elite organisation of the esteemed Principals of the CBSE Schools of Jammu region.
This election process took place in Radisson Blu to elect the new Executive Committee of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex after the completion of two years tenure of the previous committee.
It was for the first time in the history of Jammu Sahodaya that the entire Executive body consists of all the empowered women educationists who have been exemplary in their leadership roles and had the ability to sweep the entire elections with their marvellous triumph. Almost 70 CBSE schools of Jammu region are the members of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex (JSSC).
The Principal of DIS Jammu has been conferred upon this huge responsibility of the President of JSSC, keeping in consideration her unwavering commitment to excellence in education and leadership through exemplary dedication and sincere efforts in accomplishing every challenge and seizing endless opportunities for further growth and improvement in education scenario .
The newly elected Executive committee of Jammu Sahodaya is equipped with absolute women power including ; Dr Vikesh Kaur ( President) , Ranju Malhotra ( Vice President) , Randeep Wazir ( Joint Secretary), Puneet Kour ( Secretary Media and information) and Neetu Gupta ( Secretary Finance) .
While extending her first Presidential address, Dr Vikesh Kaur deliberated that all the Principals have to work collaboratively utilising the expertise and vast experiences to address the present challenges of educational scenario. She reaffirmed her commitment to excellence by initiating innovation, inclusivity and empowerment for the students, teachers, parents and the society.
