JAMMU, Mar 5: Prof. Sudhir K. Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, here at Raj Bhavan, today.
The Governor and Prof. Jain discussed various important issues relating to the ensuing Academic Session 2014 and the various courses to be modified or integrated and the new ones which are proposed to be commenced. The Vice Chancellor also discussed with the Governor the agenda of the next meeting of the Executive Council of the University which is scheduled to be held at Kakryal on 21st March, 2014.
Mehmood-ur- Rehman, Padam Shree awardee, former Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University also called on Mr. Vohra and discussed issues relating to higher education in J&K.
