JAMMU, Apr 30: A 60-year-old man sustained injuries in a road accident at Gandhi Nagar here.
Jugal Kishore son of Mani Ram Thapa of Gandhi Nagar was hit by a matador near Main Stop area on Monday morning.
He was immediately shifted to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu from where he was taken to Government Medical College Jammu.
The injured was later taken to a hospital in Punjab where he is undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigation. Pertinently, it was inadvertently reported yesterday that Jugal Kishore died in the accident. The error is regretted.
