UDHAMPUR, May 1: A youth drowned while taking bath at Nili Nallah in village Surani Ramnagar, here today.
Identity of the drowned youth was identified as Sadar Husain (21), son of Gulam Husain of village Kara in Doda. He was purportedly taking bath in the Nallah along with his friend when he slipped into deep water and drowned.
Some locals fished out body of the youth and shifted it to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar. After postmortem and r completion of all the legal formalities, Police handed over the body to family members.
A case has been registered in this connection at Police Station Ramnagar.
