JAMMU, Mar 6: Expressing dissatisfaction over the functioning of Central University, National Secular Forum (NSF) took out a protest rally on the Campus, here today.
The protesters, led by Sukhdev Singh, raised slogans against the CU Vice-Chancellor for not taking note of their demands and maintaining stoic silence over the entire matter.
Resenting delay in construction work on the CU campus, they alleged that the CUJ administration was ignoring the youth of Jammu region in jobs, which were being awarded to non-state subjects.
Sukhdev Singh alleged that the varsity has virtually become a rehabilitation center for retired and corrupt officials.
Among those present in the protest, included, Surjit Choudhary, Barket Ali, Qayoom Malik, Azaj Shah, Vikram Madhyal, Imtiyaz Ahmed, Pawan Kumar, Anees Charak, Sanjeev Kumar, Javed Iqbal, Sunil Sharma, Babeeta, Narinder Singh, PP Singh, Rishikesh Rana and Avtar Singh.
