JAMMU, June 28: The inmates of Tope Sherkhan Government quarters today protested against the disconnection of electricity to the colony and demanded that power supply be immediately restored to the area.
Taking a strong exception to the PDD authorities action the inmates warned that they will intensify the agitation in case the power supply was not restored to the colony immediately.
Shiban Krishan Hakoo an activist of JKVM and R K Raina senior vice president ASKPC termed the action of PDD uncalled for and said that people of the colony were made to suffer in this hot and humid temperature after disconnecting power supply by the authorities.
Meanwhile PDP leader Rakesh Pardesi has also criticized the PDD authorities for disconnecting power supply to the colony and demanded that the same be restored immediately.
