JAMMU, May 8: The Government Railway Police (GRP) in Jammu District claimed today they have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the past 11 years.
A GRP spokesperson said that Mohammad Ali of Chinchik, Kargil was wanted in case FIR Number 02/2013 Under Sections 279, 338 of RPC registered at Police Station GRP Jammu.
But the accused was evading his arrest for the past 11 years, he said, adding that with the arrest of the accused today, 9 warrants of arrest issued under section 512 of the CrPC stand executed.
