PSA slapped on 3 notorious criminals

SAMBA, May 9: In order to curb the criminal activities, Samba Police has detained and lodged in jail three notorious criminals under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA).
The accused identified as Narayan Sharma alias Shuna son of Brita Lal Sharma of Thalori Brahmana (Vijaypur, Samba), Rohan Kumar alias Gorav son of Bobby Kumar of Teli Basti (Bari Brahmana, Samba) and Sumit Slathia alias Bhanu Partap Singh son of Jagdish Singh of Gurha Slathia (Vijaypur, Samba), being involved in multiple criminal cases, were posing a serious threat to public peace and tranquility.
Following their repeated engagement in criminal activities, detention orders were issued by the District Magistrate Samba based on detailed dossiers prepared by SSP Samba. Teams of Police Station Vijaypur and Police Station Samba successfully executed these warrants, leading to the incarceration of the accused in District Jail Kathua.
