Peer, Rather address workers meet

JAMMU, Mar 9: To take the organizational activities to grass root level the PDP organized a workers meeting here today.
The meeting was among others addressed by former Minister and district president Anantnag Peer Mohammed Hussain, who was the chief guest, senior Party leader and Ex-MLC, Nizam-ud- Din Khatana and vice president PDP Anantnag, Abdul Rahim Rather.
Addressing the meeting Abdul Rahim Rather said that ensuing Lok Sabha elections are very crucial as they will determine the fate of the political parties. He said people during these elections will get an opportunity to expose those parties who looted the State exchequer by indulging in corrupt practices and amassed a huge wealth while the common masses were suffering.
He urged the Partymen to take this opportunity and expose the misdeeds of NC-Congress coalition before the public and strengthen the party at grass root level so that the PDP achieves the goal to take the reigns of Government in 2014 Assembly poll.
Urging the PDP minority wing to gear up to intensify campaigning for the party, Peer Mohammed Hussain said 2014 is the year of PDP and Party activists should not rest till we achieve the goal.
Launching vote for Mufti campaign PDP leader M K Bhat (retd ) DySP highlighted the problems of migrants especially those living in camps. He alleged that coalition has failed to solve the problems of the migrants during its rule. Nana Ji Wattal demanded representation to KPs in State Legislature. A K Sidha laid stress on granting minority status to KPs.
Abdul Salam Rishi, K B Kaw, Durga Nath, Dwarika Nath, P N Bhat, Jai Krishan Koul, Nana Ji addressed the meeting.
