Seven injured in road accidents

JAMMU, May 10: Seven persons were injured today in three separate road accidents occurred in the city outskirts.
According to the reports, a Tanker hit a motorcycle at Bajalta Chowk this morning, resulting into injuries to bike rider Mohinder Singh (30) son of Ashok Kumar of Chilla (Surinsar) and two pillion identified as Mamta Devi (23) wife of Balbir Kumar of Dansal and Nisha Devi (25) wife of Mohinder Singh of Chilla (Surinsar).
The injured persons were immediately rushed to ASCOMS Hospital from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for further medical treatment.
Three persons of a family were injured when an Alto car in which they were travelling, rammed into boundary wall of the road near Jagti in Nagrota area. The injured persons identified as Irfan Ahmed (280 son of Mohd Shafi, Rizwan (8) son of Irfan Ahmed and Mohd Shafi (48) son of Abdul Mir, all residents of Bhaga (Doda) were shifted to GMCH Jammu for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, a man identified as Tilak Raj (56) son of Sarvan Singh, resident of Kote Maira (Shahpur, Khour) suffered injuries when a bike he was riding, collided with another bike at Khour near J&K Bank. He was also taken to GMCH Jammu for medical treatment.
The concerned police had taken cognizance in all the three cases
